Well that is true. But in the moment of an intense battle the opponent could goblin barrel the real tower and tank the dummies other lane and if you're low of elixir u can't defend both forcing u to decide where u wanna take the dmg from. Because if u have no cheap splash card that kills multiple units the goblin dummies can get a lot of dmg if u choose to log the real foblins

By the time they get their evolution again, you would get your own (much better) evolution and make up the elixir back. And this is assuming you don't have dagger duchess. The damage is so much miniscule, you'd rather not defend. Honestly though, I don't think the evo is that bad actually. It's just that I think other evo are much better at getting value than goblin barrel. But who's know maybe they are broken when they release.

That’s pretty good actually. Although the only problem I could see with that is the recruits are not super good right now and the gov barrel is two cycle so it’d be a while to use it.
